The Corridor Cities Transitway (or CCT) is a proposed transit line which would connect the "corridor cities" of Gaithersburg, Germantown and Clarksburg to the existing Red Metro Line at Shady Grove. This transportation option for north-county residents offers an alternative to fighting traffic. Whether it is light rail or bus rapid transit system, the stations along the CCT must be centers of mixed-use, walkable communities in locations convenient to the greatest number of people.
