Safe Streets Advocate Happy Hour

Celebrate the passage of the Safe Streets Act of 2023 with fellow Montgomery County safe streets advocates! The Safe Streets Act will require leading pedestrian intervals (LPIs) and ban right on red along county roads in Downtowns and Town Centers; require safety reviews for collisions involving non-motorists near schools, and require further action on automated traffic enforcement.

We will meet at World of Beer in Rockville on Friday, September 29th at 5pm.

This event is co-hosted by Council President Evan Glass, the Coalition for Smarter Growth, Action Committee for Transit, MCCPTA, Montgomery County Families for Safe Streets, Washington Area Bicyclist Association, and Greater Greater Washington.
