CSG and immigrant advocacy group CASA partnered on a walkability survey and audit of the Bailey’s Crossroads community. Overwhelmingly, Culmore residents said they do not feel safe citing poor lighting, lack of connected sidewalks and safe crossing options, no bike infrastructure, and concerns about crime. Based on the results, we have identified a series of improvements needed to make the area safer for walking, biking and getting to transit. Read the report below for more information.
