Transit Equity Day Lunch & Learn with VA Sierra Club

Transit Equity Day is celebrated on February 4, in honor of the 109th birthday of civil rights icon Rosa Parks. Labor leaders, social justice advocates, and climate justice activists will unite across the nation to advocate for affordable, accessible, clean, and safe transit for all.

This year’s event focuses on how to provide equitable, improved transit without displacing existing lower income communities.
