Stay updated with the latest smart growth happenings in our region! You’ll get updates on things like events that we’re hosting or advocacy campaigns we’re working on. We’ll also let you know when you can take action on important policies in the jurisdiction in which you live and how you can get more involved.
Volunteers help us with both meetings and events support. You can choose to cover community meetings and hearings on our behalf – all you have to do is pay attention and take notes! Or, you can help us staff our Walking Tours & Forums Series, as well as our major spring and fall fundraising events – the Livable Communities Leadership Award and Smart Growth Social.
Montgomery for All is a grassroots, community-led group advocating for sustainable and inclusive land use, housing, and transit policies in Montgomery County. M4All is supported by CSG. M4All’s mission is to create a more affordable, equitable, environmentally sustainable, prosperous county through better land use, housing, and transit decisions.
RISE Prince George’s is a group of residents and allies advocating for shared, sustainable prosperity in Prince George’s. We are working to build awareness, engage policymakers, and develop an agenda for collective action on creative placemaking, affordable housing, and sustainable transportation policy solutions. This effort is supported by the CSG.
Ward3Vision is a group of residents who can imagine our neighborhoods as even better urban places – more walkable, sustainable, and vibrant. We work to ensure that D.C. grows in a way that is environmentally and socially responsible while protecting the character of our residential neighborhoods and bringing the vitality of urban life to our commercial corridors.
