GETTING TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT RIGHT
We learned from Schwartz about how he’s worked every angle to make TOD in our region a success for the more than a decade. He shared with us his “Ten Things to Get Right” list for TOD. Kannan addressed how Metro and the county can work to take advantage of WMATA property and adjacent sites to attract investment and build quality places.
Boyd brought a wealth of experience and knowledge about best practices in planning and development review processes. He shared a practitioner’s view to planning and development review processes and plans that balance public and private interests and create a winning outcome for communities working to achieve quality TOD.
This event was co-sponsored with the EnvisionPrince George’s Community Action Team for Transit-Oriented Development.
